We're going to have to work around the grandfather standing in the middle of the property. We haven't had a chance to measure yet, but the first guess estimate is ~100 feet.
We are going to have to cut some trees to get to the property from the street, as well as to get sunlight to the forest floor. We'll be working with arborists and foresters to select the right trees and the right locations to do this without disturbing the existing biome as much as possible.
The wood from the cutting we have to do will be used for structures around the farm, shredded for mulch, and split for firewood to heat our greenhouses and to smoke our chili tepins and mole peppers.
We close on the property in the next few days. More reports to follow.
